Well here I am back from deepest Herefordshire, having missed yesterdays game and you should have heard the roar when I heard that we had come back from 2-0 down. But in response to Finns original point, can i just say (in my best scouse voice Finn) Calm down, calm down.

Yesterday ended wonderfully so I'm upbeat and have utter confidence in Jol. That's not how I felt at half time though and it may not be how I feel after the West Brom game. Or maybe it will. I bend with each result.

What I don't understand are those who took against Jol before the season even started and give the impression that they don't want him to succeed.

We can see that he's trying new things and at best getting it right will take time. I don't see that he was wrong in identifying the need to change a squad that was clearly aging.
