In my eyes, today is less about the result (which we're not going to get BURT!) and more about the tactics/performance we show.

I'll be happy with a 4-0 loss as long as we see some of these things:

1) Duff cutting in onto to his STRONGER FOOT

2) The wingers crossing in, with their STRONGER  feet.

3)Zamora staying in the middle, and playing like he used to, none of this wondering about down the wings (unless someone tall is in the area)

4)Getting ruiz to play in the hole behind the striker-much like Gera did in the wonderful days of 4-4-1-1.

5)A good backline, only beaten by a bit of class.

and finally...

6) THE PITCH BEING UNWATERED.

My son has a decent record when he (occasionally) bets. He sees this as a good bet on Fulham. More like wishful thinking in my eyes but lets hope.

A couple of years ago, he was at a match, AJ was looking sharp. He got 10-1 at half time for AJ to score 2nd half. Put on 20 quid,....a winner. OK, nothing to do with today, but I wanted to mention it. :005:
