Fulham Outsiders To Beat FC Twente In Europa League

The Dutch side FC Twente are developing into regular title challengers in the Eredvisie and are currently sitting pretty in third place behind AZ and PSV, and they will be in confident mood when they take on Martin Jol's Fulham tomorrow night.

Twente are a best-priced Even Money from VCBet and Bet365 to beat a side they drew with in London, and it's worth noting that Twente have won every other game in this competition, and also are unbeaten in any competition since playing Fulham 15 games ago! That makes Evens a very good price.

Jol does seem to have settled Fulham though and last weeks draw at Arsenal was a confidence booster, but can they carry that form back into Europe tomorrow? If you think they could cause a shock in Holland then the 10/3 from Betfred and Stan James looks very appealing.

Other than that, as both sides are first and second in the Group, another draw would be acceptable to both so the odds of 5/2 from Totesport and Betfred seems like a reasonable price.

But for me i think that home advantage plus the confidence-factor from Twente will give them a narrow win over the Cottagers and I will be taking the Even Money from Bet365 with reasonable confidence of success....

Russian duo vie for Dembele
by DAN on NOVEMBER 30, 2011

Moussa Dembele seems to be attracting plenty of interest from Russian sides if various media reports are to be believed.

The Fulham forward, who was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the last international break, is reportedly a target of Lokomotiv Moscow and CSKA Moscow, according to Italian media outlets. Both Russian sides are rumoured to be prepared to make a 'big' offer for Dembele's services when the English transfer window reopens in the new year.

The 24 year-old Belgian international has scored six goals in 46 appearances since joining Fulham from AZ Alkmaar in August 2010.
