as you can tell I've not been happy with everybody crying about the Spurs game and "if and when" Uncle Woy will leave so lets ask the unthinkable question and put this to bed,who do you want to manage us after Woy???
I'll start with 2- Owen Coyle or Roberto Martinez

JBH

Roberto Martinez could be a good replacement

Lee Clark, currently doing a good job at Huddersfield, would like to see him work with Roy for a season prior to being given the Managers job though.

If it happened this summer I'd hope for Steve Coppell because he'd be a similar type and wouldn't meddle with the things that work.

In 3 or 4 years time who knows.

Obviously we should enjoy the rest of the season and not think about it but if anyone has to come in i wouldn't mind Curbishley. He always seemed to hate us though so maybe he wouldn't do it

Alan Pardew for me, he had the hammers playing some quality football, an underated boss in my humble opinion.

I can tell you who it wont be....

Lighthouse

Danny Murphy with Ray Lewington.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Ze Roberto Martinez, Steve Coppell, or -- believe it or not -- Gianfranco Zola.

No to Murphy. Let him serve his time in the lower regions first. It would be too much pressure -- especially as Roy's replacement.

How about McBride after he gets a little seasoning?
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

it is too unthinkable, so let's not consider it.....

I agree, its definitely not worth contemplation. How do we know that Roy is not investing in a long term view for Fulham? I can see us steadily sinking without Hodgson.

SuffolkWhite

Roy may well be on a 1 year rolling contract, but I don't think he would leave unless it was for the England job. And if Cappelllo does well and gets to the semi's at least then Roy wont be offered the job for another two years.  :dft012:

Ray should take the reigns from Roy.

Something must have rubbed off, and in Roy we have seen a star coach, so it should be business as usual (though I wouldn't imagine for one moment Ray would lose Roy's phone number!!)

That's food for thought !

Out of interest, what seasoning do you have with a McBride then?

I know you get a stuffing with a Sanchez.

epsomraver

Not Ray, sorry lovely bloke, good tactics but a poor man manager, he has had his chances and frankly I don't think he would want a managers job now.

Only if you are interested in food poisoning. I love Macca, but I have never heard that he has any ambition in regards to coaching. This is the top class we're talking about, and you need to be more than a top-class gent to coach here. I don't think McGod is ready to coach at USL-2 level, never mind in England.
