I know quite a few people here rate him. How would you feel on a move for Dos Santos? At 23 he has age on his side and he seems to be a forgotten comodity at Spuds, with Ole "Arry rumored to be signing a new contract it doesnt seem like his usage would change at any rate. He has pace, can score and i think would fit in with the style of play were trying to accomplish. He is already close so he wouldnt have to move and I think we would be able to fit his wages without busting the bank. Plays on the wing or just behind the striker. Cheeky bid anyone?

A yes from me. Bet he winds up in Spain though.

That probably makes sense and he isnt new to spain either having gone through Barcelona originally. It just boggles my mind why spuds havent used him at all.

I have always been impressed by him so yes from me.

I really rate him and I feel his talent is wasted at Spurs. Him on the right, Ruiz in the no.10 and Dempsey on the left. Sounds lethal to me...

One good quality of his is that no matter how things are going at his club, his national team performances never fail. He's always a force for El Tricolor. In my estimation, that would keep continental interest high enough that we could at least expect to recoup any investment in him.

That is very true, take example he scored against brazil, albit a bit of a fluke goal.

He is as valuable to the Mexican team as Javier Hernandez. I rate him very highly.

He'd cost a fair bit ... unless we got him as part of the inevitable Dembele deal?

If it came down to loosing him to Spuds i would love Dos Santos, I just dont think he will move there if at all since there is no Champions League for them.

He did say in the past that moving to Spurs would be "a step higher".

Was he actually quoted saying that or is that a bit of agent speak?

Well, he needs to play every week to maintain his exposure and looking forward to the qualifiers of this year, besides, he already went to Racing before last season which is a similar team to us in Spain (table wise I mean) which makes me think he would be open to come with us...  it would be a win-win situation.

Yes from me, or in this case it would be like "si compadre!".

Well, without even invoking the "Harry will never send anyone to Fulham" Rule, I like everything about DosSantos except for his family. If he would divorce them and be his own man, I think he'd be a good one. The problem is that every team he plays for is going to have a tremendous amount of familial interference.

:032:How has his family interfered with his various stints?

HatterDon

His father threatened to pull him out of the Mexico national team last summer if the selectors did not also include Giovanni's little brother.

I haven't followed the rest of that telenovella, but this was supposed to be one of several such actions by the father.
