You need to play Champions League one day and prove to the top players in the world that you can compete with them’. He took that well. He worked hard for it. He had a very, very good season last year and then he was in an unknown place during the summer break with his club situation. This makes me feel better about Deuce but not so much about Klinsmann.

Do the odds on playing in Champions League really favor Spurs over FFC that much? I know they just got edged out last year, but with the two Manchester teams pretty much assured of CL qualification, and Chelsea playing better, do we believe AVB can guide Spurs to a top-four finish? I dunno.
