If we can bring 30% of these youngsters through..  we'll be a decent shape...  Im talking in a 3-4 years...  but these players are amongst the best in the Country.

Steve Wigley's first competitive game in charge of the Under-18s ended in a comprehensive 7-1 win over Wolves at Motspur Park on Saturday afternoon.

Cauley Woodrow opened the scoring withing 90 seconds with a cool header from Jordan Evans' neat cross from the left before Emerson Hyndman made it two moments later, rifling in from the edge of the box.

Wolves pulled one back before Hyndman restored our two goal advantage with a close range finish. And just before half-time, Lyle Della Verde made it 4-1 with a brilliant 20-yard strike, following good work from George Williams.

Wolves started the second period strongly but it was Fulham who found the target again when Moussa Dembele knocked the ball down for Woodrow to slam home from 25 yards.

The Whites continued to dominant and Hyndman completed his hat-trick, finishing smartly from Della Verde's free-kick.

Dembele completed the scoring late on when his free-kick hit the post and went in via the Wolves 'keeper.

Academy Huw Jennings said: "This was an excellent start and at the back we looked very solid while going forward we were always a threat. It's a great platform to build on."

Fulham Team: Grainger; Donnelly, O'Reilly, Sambou, Evans (Richards 65); Della Verde (Tieku 70), Hyndman (O'Halloran 65), Tankovic, Williams; Dembele, Woodrow

Dembele looked very very raw. Is built big and strong for his age and is quick off the mark but first touch and general link play was poor. Imagine he was an out and out goalscorer growing up and now needs to learn the rest of the game.

All looking good. Heard great things about Hyndman.

Elgreenio, I assume they will all have 190+ PA in the next FM? Haha!
