Sad to see so many go this window. Legend Clint Dempsey will be missed just not the way he went. Dembele was a star that burned bright but tended to fizz more then spark and explode.

Welcome a left winger/fullback, an attacking midfielder and a star forward.

A squad that is painfully light should a few injury problems occur in the wrong places.

But now we are back to talking football. An early start at West Ham and I will start the moans early.

which sounds pretty ominous to me as it's illiterate but if loosely translate could suggest that we've no more players coming in...

If that was the case, then we're extremely thin in the middle of the park now and I'd class this transfer window as a failure as we've let go of Dempsey and Dembele two of our best players and not brought anyone in as a result.... we had ages. Why would we let these players go if we don't have any cover!  :dead horse:

I like our business this window, it could have been a whole lot worse.

Saying that, we'll get beaten at West Ham tomorrow, just because we always do, but I think things will be ok this season.

Because Dembele had a 15mil get out clause in his contract which HE envoked so they had no choice and Dempsey openly stated he would not play for Fulham again.

Good thing is we have three forwards. Oh wait we have just three forwards. But the wide players are useful however we have clearly lost more than we received.

Without the big stat attraction of Berbatov this would have been a blimmin disaster.

Think the dull, nay sayers and depresives were right. In Jol we trust? We have to now because he has a bit of a job to do. However a good performance and result tomorrow will make all the difference.

Really bothered that we didn't get Vadis Odjidja... But a decent window all in all, and about £8m spent while approx £23m has been recieved.
