Alexander Kacaniklic remains fully committed to Fulham amid transfer speculation

Alex Kacaniklic: Has been a regular for Fulham so far this season

The agent of Alex Kacaniklic claims his client remains fully committed to Fulham as reports link him with a move to Italy.

A number of Serie A clubs are said to be closely monitoring the 21-year-old's situation at Craven Cottage ahead of the January transfer window.

Kacaniklic has been a regular for Fulham so far this season and has earned senior international recognition with Sweden.
His performances have drawn admiring glances from afar, but his representative maintains that a player who joined Fulham as part of the deal which took Paul Koncheksy to Liverpool in 2010 has no intention of moving on any time soon.

"Of course the interest has increased since he started playing in the Premier League," Miro Jaganjac told Fotbolldirekt.se.

"Right now, though, the most important thing is Fulham.

"There are some fantastic clubs interested. He is young and playing well, and good clubs are interested in good players.

"But he is happy at Fulham and right now all he wants to do is play well for them and offer them a boost."

Walton Bid Denial!

Not that long ago we reported on an apparent interest in the young Plymouth keeper Christian Walton.

It had been inferred that Fulham had made a bid, believed to be between £250,000 and £300,000 to bring the 16 year-old to Craven Cottage

Well it appears that any bid is news to Plymouth with their manager, Carl Fletcher, dismissing any knowledge of a bid and instead insisting that his young star is going nowhere, commenting to the local Devon media,

"From our point of view we have some good youngsters."

"And from my point of view we want to keep them here and progress them through, and they can play lots of games for Argyle and we can sell them for lots of money."

I wonder if, after all their well documented cash-problems when Peter Reid was in charge at Home Park, they`d sell if a decent offer were to come in!

Transfer news: Alex Kacaniklic’s agent has said the midfielder is happy at Fulham despite reports link him with a move to Italy.

A host of Serie A clubs are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, who broke into the west Londoners’ side at the end of last term and has continued to impress in both a white shirt and the yellow jersey of the Swedish national side.

His Craven Cottage boss, Martin Jol, today said that there are clubs interested in signing the youngster, though he claims there is nothing serious to report.

And now Miro Jaganjac has said his client his happy in the English capital, telling Fotbolldirekt.se: “Of course, the interest has increased since he started playing in the Premier League.

“Right now, though, the most important thing is Fulham.

“There are some fantastic clubs interested. He is young and playing well, and good clubs are interested in good players.

“But he is happy at Fulham and right now all he wants to do is play well for them and offer them a boost.”

Jol also confirmed today that contract talks are ongoing with centre back Brede Hangeland.

“There are no developments yet,” the manager said. “Talks are always ongoing and [the club] were talking today with him and his manager.”

Fulham continue Hangeland talks

FULHAM have re-opened contract talks with Brede Hangeland in a bid to tie the defender's long-term future to Fulham.

The Norwegian centre-half is in the final 12 months of his current deal at Craven Cottage, but the club have begun negotiations to extend his stay in SW6.

Aaron Hughes agreed fresh terms last month and Martin Jol hopes Hangeland will join his defensive partner in committing his future.

When asked if there had been any developments, the Dutchman replied: “No. Talks are always ongoing - not every day - but we're talking with him and his management today.”
