Today's tip is shamelessly linked to Sunday's tip 31....

Sell your old clothes

Now that you are making real progress and have started to rebuild your wardrobe with new clothes, it is a good time to make a bit of money on the side by selling your old, larger garments.  A return trip to eBay awaits!

There are two reasons for doing this:

- A huge positive affirmation of the effort that you have put in, and
- Commitment to the new you

It would be easy to use the money that you raise by selling your old clothes to fund your new wardrobe but a better idea would be to use it to reward yourself for the huge change that you have made to your life (and the length that you can now expect it to last).  Depending how much you raise, how about a new TV?  A holiday?  That thing you always promised to buy yourself "one day"?  And don't forget that you can also donate old clothes to charity shops, which is another way to feel good about the benefits of the change in your life.
