We have 2 weeks off to integrate the new signings and address some of our problems ( thoroughly discussed on this board ).
A great mid - season opportunity to start getting things right ( to be fair Jol looked as though he had done that pre-season but then Dembele left , Diarra was injured and Berba arrived and since then I don't think Jol has known what his ideal starting 11 and formation looks like )

What formation are they using ?
Are there indications of what Jol thinks maybe his new preferred 1st 11 ?
Who is in who is out ?

Missing the Jol Friday briefing today ........

And will miss not having a game to follow this weekend

I don't know but I imagine Jol would welcome a break. I would hope that he will seek to address the long standing problem of getting the best out of Berba and Ruiz as well as whom should be starting in central midfield. And the new guys can get used to their team mates and manager's style. Does anyone know if Enoh has got his work permit yet?

Hangeland can get some recovery time on his achilles problem - as he said, and a few will probably have knocks and strains.

And, as said, some time for the newbies to fit in.

Travers Barney

Sure the chaps must have had a rigorous workout in the morning but was down the training ground yesterday afternoon with the good Earl Beatty for a bit of flag business and Kasami breezed through without a care in the world...notice he's off on loan now...saw Briggs drive out in some posh black car...could do with a clean though I thought.

Lots of attractive women there at reception and meeting/greeting arrivals some bemoaning the lack of any valentine day flowers.

Could think of worse places to work...lots.

Jol has spent the week trying to work out in which half of the pitch Berbatov will be most dangerous. Apprently he has tried both options and was last seen asking Ruiz if he knew the rules to Scissors, Paper, Stone....
