theres no soccer buses from lime street.its from sandhills station surely?

My apologies Ross you are right, the soccer bus is to and from Sandhills station.

Lots of other buses from Queens square bus terminus opposite Lime st station.

More in depth information here ... http://www.evertonfc.com/tickets/by-bus-or-train.html

If its a nice day you can walk from town, it takes about 25 minutes, only  ten minutes on the bus.

If you get a taxi with 3 or 4 people it will cost you about £2 quid each, just as cheap as the bus.

Have a nice day.
Bill.

QuoteNorfolkJim..Where does the bus back go from though and how long do you stand around before you can get on one? Never been to a game in Liverpool and trains don't run very late to Norwich so have tended to not even consider these games

The Soccerbus specials are in a queue waiting for you, and every other bus passing the ground will be going into town, one every couple of minutes see the link for the numbers or look for the destination on the front.  [Lime street, Town Centre, or Pier Head].

Hey Bill, how's it going? You still running that forum? Not anticipating too much from this match. We never get anything from Goodison.

To those of you yet to go, do so... Traditional ground, and the centre of town is a blast. Liverpool One for shops etc. and the Cavern district has plenty of good traditional boozers. Last time I was there I saw ACDC UK in the Cavern, and my ears have only just stopped ringing. Also took in a footy match at Bootle.

Nope... Got a family do tomorrow. All going up to the observation gallery in the Shard, and then off for a bite to eat and a few sherberts.

11.15ish arrival at Lime Street...normally go to this boozer where Lennon allegedly had his wedding..turn left at the Station...adjacent to the printwork hotel.

Hope Scrumpy doesn't get rumbled in the home bit.

Not sure theres any particular pub, we`ve always moved around town doing em as we go. Went in the Arkles once near Anfield and there were quite a few Fulham in there

We get in at 9.30, got an old backstreet boozer crawl lined up. We`re starting at a place called the Philharmonic, its an old gin palace and it looks amazing

Thats a bit Highbrow to be called a back street boozer,  not sure you will get in wearing your footy colours, but if you can its well worth the visit, just to see the toilets.

But its on the opposite side of town from where you want to be.

Have a nice Day.

The Philharmonic is the most amazing pub I have been to. It's like a time warp, beautiful decor, and quite probably the only pub I haev ever been to where I just had to take a picture of the toilets. More importantly, it also does a good line of decent beers.

Oh, and when last I went there, one of the barmaids was out of this world... *Sigh*

I too shall be sitting in the home end. Living up in north Wales these days and the girlfriend is an everton season ticket holder. Will be wearing a white 'jakes lucky 7' t-shirt so Scrumpy - if you see me among a sea of blue do say hello! :)
