play as often as i can
can thoroughly recommend Le Touquet as a destination
Not too crowded and 3 great courses to choose from
also lots of accomodation nearby

Beamer

Hi Ben,
Guadalmena used to be our regular haunt for many years. It has 2 courses both of which are pretty good. The hotel is good and right on the beach, overlooking one of the courses but pretty quiet and not really geared for a lively crowd (if you are). Book the golf through them but watch out for the tee times they give you. We liked the hotel (went for 12 years) but gave up when they got difficult about when we could play. It is out of town a way but only 5 mins taxi ride into Puerto Banus. We now stay in the H10 Andalucia Plaza which is attached to the casino in PB. Walk into PB with all the restaurants/bars or 6/7 min taxi into Marbella. It is not quite such a good hotel as Guad (but much better than adequate) but geared for parties and much more relaxed (without being rowdy). The woman at the golf desk arranges all our golf and they are generally very helpful - might be worth a look. I can give you a couple of restaurants to go to if you need any advice.

JBH

I would recommend Cyprus, great weather, great courses, all inclusive and a lot more value for money that both Spain and Portugal.

thanks again beamer. knowing my lot the destination will change a hundred times before we actually book it. but once we have i will def be in touch to discuss the area more. and jbh, i have been cyprus a few times and have always loved it, but some of my mates are on a tight budget and and eating out and drinking can become expensive their. i see you have said all inclusive which would help with the cost but we as a group tend to move about a bit and i doubt we could stay in the same place for a whole weekend
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

Beamer

Hi Ben,
Tight budgets and Marbella don't really mix. Beer here €2.20, Marbella €4.50-5.00, same for food. Great place and we love going down there with the boys but not good if any of them are on a budget.

Stayed and played there 4 years ago. Both courses are good. Old is quite flat. New goes into the hills with some great views. Hope you like Germans!

The Rock

Scotland.

Ireland/Norn iron.

West coast US/SC and FLA US.

Then repost.

My point is, play the best courses, life is too short.

best place i have been to recently is Le Touquet foret
2 great courses , won't be as hot and its a 40 minute drive from Calais
one course is the forest and the other is the dunes
accomodation is reasonable and the food is great
they are well set up for groups
