What a player that Moussa Dembele kid looks! I wonder how long it'll be until he is in the first team squad.
Keep calm, think of Fulham FC

Northern Cottager

The team as a whole looked awesome. Great passing, moving and pace all over the place.

Ordar

Arthurworrey was fantastic and really impressed me, as did Tom Richards at LB.

As NC said though everyone played well

For a 16 years old kid, he looks like a giant. The French lad looks promising. Hopefully we'll see a bit of his talents in the upcoming pre-season fixtures.

Was No 10 Handyman?

I loved the way he let the ball run across him as he turned to start the set up for the first goal, very much like Murphy

These guys look fantastic. What's is the contract status with these guys? Are they tied up to the club long term? How does it work with youth players? I'd hate to lose these guys to the shark that are going to be swimming around them now we won the league...

The 10 is Muamer Tankovic, he's quite big and grown-up looking and does a lot of Berbatov-type things and has even copied his walk. I think he is the one that Jol would like to promote.

Hyndman is the 8. Smaller even than Roberts but has played brilliantly of late.

They all do that Danny Murphy thing, a friend of mine was remarking on it at the semi the other day. Must be something in the air at Motspur Park.

Watching it again, you can't help but be impressed. But that's what the best u18 outfit in the land looks like.

Whoops... replied to the wrong posts.

They can only sign full-time pro contracts at 17. So there is a risk we might lose some of them. It is said that 5 year contracts will be put on offer for the obvious candidates and we are surely in a good position - but it is known that some of the 'Big Names' have been sniffing around.

Fulham have already turned down bids in excess of a million pound for Pat Roberts, some of theses boys have only turned 16 this year so could still play for the u16s, I'm sure we will keep the ones we want, BUT that's only if Jol will be prepared to play youngsters , if they don't think he will, who could blame them for going elsewhere

We are very strong in all positions in the u18s and its the best group I can remember seeing at Fulham at this age

We have the top people in the academy so I'm not surprised to be honest, but it hasn't kust happened, it's taken a lot of hard work

I don't know why they haven't put the semi final match on the site as they had a scaffold platfom opposite the stand with a Camera team.

Shredhead

They were absolutely fantastic.
It would be great to see some of them on the subs bench and starting in the League Cup.

Burt

Good stuff. Some great movement and finishing in there.

One thing I noticed while watching the Dallas Cup on TV is that they don't play Martin Jol Sexy Football. There's a lot of pace, width, defensive pressure, and movement going on there. I'd love to watch more of their football.

I remember that MacIntosh said that the goal was for 1/4 of the first team squad in 14-15 being home grown players. I would love that. Maybe the way they play the game could percolate up to the veterans on the squad.

There was a moment, at around 4:10 that was quite a stunning piece of football, nothing came at the end of it; but it was a brilliant move.
He gets the ball, he scores a goal, he loves to play for Martin Jol - Dimitar Berbatov - Fulham's Number Nine!

This is the bit that stood out for me as well. Fantastic stuff.

Without meaning to go over the top here, teaching the pass and move stuff from U18 upwards is exactly how Barca ended up becoming the best club side in history.

If just a few end up making it the years of work will have paid off.

So well done to all involved from the players to the coaching staff at the academy  :54:

The first team and Jol should watch that and see how football should be played and what a fast break really is, well done to the lads, hope they can make it to the first team before they are snapped up by forward thinking clubs

..Kya.ffc..

Well done and awesome watching. Hopefully they will continue to developing and will see some of them in and around the first team soon enough.

epsomraver agree with you should be summer homework for the first team to watch a few games of theirs and be inspired.
