Did your season ticket package fit through your letterbox?

Mine didn't and I have a standard size letter box. I've just had to schlep to the Delivery Office to pick it up. The postie there remarked that 'they must be mad to think that's a letter'.
Before I moan to the club, did anyone else have this problem?

Fairly sure I read someone on here saying something bout having to go to the depot to pick theirs up too.

I had no problems I have a standard size letter box although I also have a 6 foot something postie who is friendly enough to unlock my gate and leave my bigger items out back and lock the gate behind him

You have your s tkt - why moan?  There are more important things in life! :-)
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

My postie was good enough to knock on the front door of my flats and wait for me to descend from the top floor.

Is it just me, or is this thread like a Finbarr Saunders script?

At least you've got yours. Mine still hasn't turned up, so I've had to get a duplicate ST from the club.
Why would you kill it, kill it, kill it before it dies?

No. I also had to make a special trip to the sorting office. And that is ridiculous when the item one has ordered is the size of credit card. Even with the diary, it would have made it through my (similarly standard size) letterbox with ease were it not for all that unnecessary cardboard.

Anyone away from home all day would have been forced to collect on Saturday morning, which doesn't have a great fit with attending football matches. Not clever.

You're right - there are more important things in life, but here's some context - I just got back from holiday, looking forward to first game of season, suddenly panic when I realise I don't have my or my daughter's ST then wake up in the middle of the night wondering if that card left by the postie was my ST.

As b+w geezer says, it's loads of unnecessary cardboard. And hassle. I won't start on the environmental impact of the extra packaging or travel of ST holders to and from their 'local' depot. At least I went by bike.

Someone at the club has been watching too many You Tube videos of Apple disciplines opening their i-phones.
