We've haven't made a thrilling start to the season and last year wasn't exactly a bundle of fun either. Last night N. Ireland embarrasses themselves v the mighty Luxembourg. Common denominator?? Billy Mckinlay is on the coaching staff for both us and N.I. Obviously i couldn't give a monkeys about the Irish but my club's fortunes concerns me deeply. Is McKinlay just a crap coach?

No no no.

The fault is all Jol's. Everything. All of it.

Apart from Syria which may be down to Cock.

Its all down to the negativity being generated by posts on this board:028:

Billy is a good coach... we are 3 games into the season.  Lets see how we do this weekend.  092.gif

Unless you've talked to someone who's trained under him or trained under him yourself, its pretty hard for us fans to guage what sort of coach Billy is. The fact that he's been with us quite a long term during multiple managerial changes suggests the club quite like him. He also got promoted to coach the first team by Jol which saw Ray Lewington become reserve manager. Personally, I think the coach to look out for is Kit Symons, done some great things with the youth teams since he's come back to the club.

Good to have you back Tony
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

You may be paranoid, but that doesn't rule out the possibility that they might really be out to get you.

Despite the lack of original music soundtrack, you know everything is alright with the World when a reason to put up clips from The Long Good Friday suddenly appears. Well done cmg, you made an old man very happy.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

So, basically Jol's uselessness has now rubbed off on McKinlay??? First the players & now the support staff, which in turn is jeopardising N. Ireland's international chances. Couldn't care less about N. Ireland to be honest but does prove, without doubt that Jol is a major problem...  :dead horse:

Me-ate-Live, innit??

Billy  played for us once, a particularly miserable week night (among a number of miserably away week nights games )
this particular miserable week night was at Shelhurst Park. Never could tell if he was any good as the only time he touched the ball was to kick it out of touch at the half time whistle.

Every time I see him I think of that night

You're taking 2 and 2 and making 5 there. Just because he's a coach at both teams and neither are doing well you can't infer he's a crap coach. He's not the manager nor is he the player, they must take the most responsibility.
Personally I've no idea how good he is.

Just check out the performances of the teams he's involved with, that'll give you a good idea!
