now folks this is a classic example of a poor chairman... Khan has taken some stick on here, but he has said our team name will never change and has continued to back the stadium development, and the academy. They may only be words as appose to actions but least he is saying the right things.

Time to put a stop to foreign owners (sorry, including the yanks) unless they pass the culture and history of football test. 092.gif

The problem is, this Assem has been in the UK 40 years, he's not some guy just off the boat, and if he hasn't got a handle on what it takes to support a football club, then I don't see any test that will find otherwise.

As I said, he wrapped his 'giving back to the community' around the real reason for his purchasing the club being getting the freehold of the KC stadium, so he could develop and make a boatload of cash for himself. It was only when the City Council put the kabosh on that little earner, he turned his attention to making the club 'profitable' and stupidly believed that taking a leaf out of the NFL naming would work the wrong side of the pond. When he mentions that if he was the owner of Citeh he would rename them as 'Manchester Hunters' and he believes the world will see him as a 'leader of this idea' in the UK in time, shows the delusional state he has reached, all prompted by greed for cash.
