A challenge for those who love statistics...

I want whoever's up for this challenge to find out the following facts...

In regards to pitch size - where does Fulhams pitch come in regards to size in comparison to all the other premier league pitches!?

Also - Are the more successful teams the teams with the biggest home pitches or the one's with the smallest or the one's which are middle sized?!

The reason I ask these is because I firmly believe that Fulham's poor away record is simply down to the fact that Fulham have one of the smallest home pitches in the league and so when it comes to playing away , having practised soo much for our small pitch we're found wanting when it comes to bigger pitches.

The craven cottage pitch got made smaller a couple of years back too to fit in the extra pitch side seating (which everyone who's supported can testify too) and so is our poor away form down to the size of our pitch - does anyone have any other stats that may help this theory?!

I think it may suprise quite a few.

Looks like size doesn't matter, but capacity does .. erm.

A few interesting observations there: Villa has the largest (joint) and widest pitch. Explains why O'Neill has focused so much on quality flank players. Makes a lot of sense.
