Merry Christmas from the most optimistic fulham fan

And so this is Fulham
And what have we done
Another loss over
And time that we won

And so this is Fulham
We're Black and we're White
Let's all pull together
And all show some fight

A very merry Xmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
And we're still here next year

Happy Christmas FoFfers - wherever you are

This is rubbish. I have been trying to get this right all afternoon and even with my more than acceptable impersonation of Noddy Holder it just doesn't fit. Then it dawned on me and the clue, the sign off line was there all the time. I should have banging out The Mud classic in full attire. Still doesn't rhyme or fit and one of the ear rings nearly took an eye out. I had to get off the bus.

...sorry ScalleyssDad, try the tune of John Lennon's "Merry Christmas (War Is Over)"...

Merry Christmas to one and all.
Just joshing with you LB. Of course I knew it was the Lennon classic ...... can't get a big white piano in our front room though.

Sandbags at the ready after lunch. Good luck and well done to everybody doing the miles. I'm stacking up the brownie points for a full house in January.

Merry Christmas guys, the team in the relegation zone today normally goes down... lets try and change that!

Very mixed actually, mostly Gaelic with old Norse and slang

You'd imagine so - Irish Gaelic originally, presumably. Do many people speak it now and is it taught in schools there? I thought I remembered as a kid the last native Manx speaker dying.

I think it's compulsory for children to be taught it in schools now, the language is definitely growing again despite around 2% of the population fluent in it. Yeah Ned Maddrell was his name (my surname) small island !

That's good. I have a customer whose family came from the south of the island some generations ago, they're in the graveyards there - Morley.
