What do we all reckon?

Villa - Sunderland (a) Arsenal (h) total = 0pts
Norwich - Palace (a)  Everton (a) total = 0 pts
WBA - Newcastle (h) Southampton (a) total = 0 pts
Cardiff - Arsenal (a) West Ham (a) total = 1 pt
Palace - Norwich (h) Tottenham (a) total = 3pts
Fulham - West Ham (h) Sunderland (h) total = 6pts
West Ham - Fulham (a) Cardiff (h) total = 1pt
Sunderland - Villa (h) Fulham (a) total = 3pts

Honestly do think we will win both home games

I know it's a long shot, but feasible. Should it happen the bottom eight would read;

Fulham 22pts
Villa 20 pts
Cardiff 19pts
Norwich 19 pts
Palace 19pts
WBA 18pts
Sunderland 17pts
West Ham 16pts

Fulham76

Very positive but we desperately need results to go this way. Have you seen our 5 games after Sunderland???

Pretty daunting to put it mildly. Four pts at best out of those five

So if we didn't win then really this thread is utterly useless. We have seen yesterday that we are playing shite and I don't ever go into a game feeling confident as I have been disappointed all to often these last fee seasons. I don't ever class a game now as a certain win, as ever game is a fight and we are so unpredictable

Having just looked through all of the fixtures remaining I predicted that we would finish on around 35-40 points depending on how well we pick things up from here... pretty daunting really. Maybe a year or two in the Championsip could be a good thing?

I think we will get 4 leaving us on 20 points & achieving the minimum 7 points from the 4 games

We played awful yesterday I agree, but you obviously haven't seen the previous four games before that to come out with a comment like that.If we play like we did against Villa, City and Spurs at home then I can't see West Ham or Sunderland getting anything.

I have watched the games yes. And yes we have been playing with more guts. However Lady Luck is not on outside and so I'm not counting any chickens yet but I'll give you a pat on the back for your optimism

trust me it would not be a year or two it would be 40 years. Not an option

You absolutely must invest now and avoid relegation, than drop down, then work your way up
Hoping to get a promotion with new investments, playing the youth or whatever... Not an option indeed.
Stay up at all cost. Khan must be able to see it the same way. Or else
Berbatov has Cantona's knack of being the man amid a stampede towards the door who stops to notice a side exit that nobody else has seen.

Slaphead in Qatar

The five games after sunderland will not be daunting if we invest in the squad. If we do not get 3 first teamers in the jan window in our weak areas then we will be relegated.

Yes totally agree with this. If we don't get 3 first teamers in we will be relegated. Other teams will grow stronger and fight. We lack fighting spirit!
