I think what ever manager came in straight away after Fergie was damned. The next one will have more chance of being accepted and gaining success

Moyes should never have been appointed, but now that he has they have to stick with him. Sacking him and throwing someone else in there isnt gonna solve everything

Count Berbatov

As I said in another thread. Either sack him immediately or let him build his own team.
The fact of the matter is, that he is a broken man right now. He is failing and there's nothing he can do. I have no doubt that he is a good manager, but at what level? He never won anything at Everton for 10 years. FA cup once I think... Martinez right now is doing the same job if not even better and with arguably weaker squad.
Sure David can claim this isn't his squad at United and that the players are average. But anyone can manage a team full of stars. Anyone could manage a Man City team, so to speak
Moyes is an "idiot", for overestimating his abilities, for not being smart enough to make this transition smoother, when he had the chance to do so with the coaching staff already there and for not being up to date with his methods in training and tactics
He's one of those Jol type of managers, or Sir Alex type if you will, who try to fit the players in their system of play. He keeps on insisting on a some variation of 4-4-2. When we do not have the personnel. The midfield is like Fulhams. Too weak for only two in it. It's no longer Keane - Scholes damn it. Learn from Rene. Put an extra body in there, get two holding midfielders.
Get Kagawa - Rooney - Nani behind RvP and utilize what you have. He plays Welbeck who is so overrated. Cleverley, who is no Scholes. Giggs, who with all his experience isn't a week in, week out player player anymore.  He can't fit Kagawa and pushes him on the wings, when at Dortmund he showed he's a world class no 10....
Too many stubborn Scottish silly mistakes and he won't learn.
If you hear his interviews after a defeat!" We played well ". The ref didn't give this and that".. Shut up. It's embarrassing. Even Giggs yesterday -" we played against the referees "! What!?

Sorry, this is your thread. Not one about Moyes. But Rene would have advised him properly and our loss is your gain now
Berbatov has Cantona's knack of being the man amid a stampede towards the door who stops to notice a side exit that nobody else has seen.

Moyes to Manu
Roy to Liverpool
A lot of similarities there, none more so than Fergie and Dalglish sitting in the stands.
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.
