West Brom hired Pepe Mel today as new manager, whats your thoughts?

I think some guy on BBC live text summed it up pretty well.

Spain's Neil Warnock

His 10th club in 14 years says it all. Not there for the long term. Been given an 18 month contract.

I think west brom are in big trouble now. He's a coach which is ultimately how west brom want but he seems to lose the dressing room every time. I see this as a bad move for them and I think they will get drag towards the bottom which is good for us

westcliff white

longest job he had was 3 years i think so 9 clubs in 11 seasons if you take that out. ouch for the baggies fans i think

He has trawled the minnows of the Spanish league... His last club is where he has had most success. He took Betis back to the top league, and last season finished 7th and got them in to the Europa League.

He was fired earlier this season after some bum results. Losing 0-4 against Seville (their local derby) was the last straw.

He hasn't had the best of luck though, Betis have been in big financial trouble.

Their caretaker boss was doing ok. Should have stuck with him for a while longer.
