After a break over the festive period,  it's time for us to gather together once again to celebrate and commiserate everything Fulhamish.
As usual,  it's the last Monday of the month (28th) from 8pm. There's a change of venue
this month - the Eagle,  which is opposite our normal meeting place,  the Basketmakers on Gloucester Road in the North Laine part of town. It's about 10 minutes walk from the station for people coming by train.
Everyone welcome.
We've got a very kind offer to discuss for our February meet up.

Oooh change of venue.......two steps across the road from the old venue. :yay: We are hoping to increase this 'therapy' group at each new meeting. Outgrown the 1st venue, now on the 2nd one; Brighton Dome here we come  049:gif
See you Monday Andrew.

I will be back from the blades game and will be lookin to get there.

The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Looking forward to seeing everyone again and any new recruits to our 'therapy group'.I remember the Eagle from my student days -good pub.I might still pop into the Basketmakers first for my ESB fix.Lets hope we will be talking about a great win v Sheffield Utd and a couple of brilliant signings.

If its Monday it will be the 27th not 28th.
Yes, you're right it's the 27th. I'm frazzled after my 8 year old daughter's birthday party. How can 5 girls make so much noise? At least I caught my daughter playing 'We love you Fulham, we do, we love you Fulham, we do etc' on her kazoo thingie.
The Basketmakers is closed for a private party on 27th, but the Eagle may be a better venue as its bigger should our numbers grow. And it sells Hophead!

Thanks Andrew for thumbs up  on Basketmakers being shut - will go to Evening Star & Lord Nelson to start with instead. If you and Jenny fancy taking the dust out of your throats before the Eagle let me know.Cheers
Brighton has some great pubs.

What a great session beer hophead is. In fact Dark Star produce some of the best ales around especially APA.

Dark Star beers are excellent, have you done their tour yet, just a short cycle from Steyning where i live and they have a great shop selling all thier beers.

The Evening Star pub in Brighton is where it all began. They used to brew the beers in the cellar of the pub.It is the next best place to visit after the brewery itself to sample all the beers.I have done the Harvey's and Fullers tours both of which were great

This thread is beginning to sound like a 'Fulham fan's guide to Real Ale drinking' 082.gif
Don't be put off.....lager, wine and non-alcoholic drinkers very welcome too.....just worried that if everyone who says they're going to come, turns up, it'll be standing room only in the 'Eagle'  :016:......never mind, will bring my woolly hat and sit outside if necessary 049:gif

Fulhampete

Going to a beer festival tonight in Colchester and another one tomorrow at a local pub. Saturday to get straight then a six am start on Sunday up to Sheffield. I think the drinking before a Fulham game is necessary and usually after the games as well.
