The Championship, starting XI next season... merged

It's so difficult to say because of the comings and goings over the summer - but of the current team that realistically might stay, I'd like to keep Stockdale, Hangeland, Burn, Sidwell, Parker, Karagounis and Kasami.

People might complain that that's not addressing the key problem of an ageing squad but I still think those guys have got enough about them to make a difference at championship level. Everyone else either will go or should.

Lots of options up front, but we will need midfield and defensive reinforcements.
