I find football ground changes awesome to track over the years

Scrumpy

Yep, it's interesting to see how things have changed. I well remember that huge terrace behind one of the goals at the 'old' Molineux. God knows what that held in its day.

The one I miss the most is the old Valley. Went there for the first time in 1983 and they still had this huge terrace along one side. I wonder whether anyone has pictures of this in its heyday? It must have held about 30k on its own.

I can't think of many modern grounds that retain a sense of their past. Oh yeah -Craven Cottage! :clap_hands:
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

...blimey, thanks for that The Doctor, that is how I remember The Valley, and Fred Callaghan scoring the goal that saved us from relegation - and the same ground that I watched The Who with the first ever laser display at a 'pop' concert...
