NFR (Sorta) The Premiership Allocation draft.

aThe MLS announced the other day that Atlanta was going to be the twenty second MLS club. The way this new club gets MLS level players is through what is called an allocation draft, every club puts a certain amount of players in an off limit status and the new club can pick from the rest of the players from every club till they have a sufficiant amount of players for the season.

Lets say the FA sells what remains of its soul to a corporate sponsor. In this scenario only the top two clubs from the Championship are promoted this year and a new club "Football Club" takes the place of the club who normally comes up via the play off. The FA in all its wisdom has named you Manager of "Football Club" and you must get your new squad ready via a "MLS Style allocation"

The rules are simple.

You may choose no more than 3 players from the same club.

A player chosen for your club must have less than 10 starts for his club (apperances from the bench and loans do not count, so a player like Lukaku is eligible)

You do not have to take a player from every club.

A Player taken must be under contract to a Top Flight side.

You are allowed one "Designated Player" who can be from any club and the offer will be accepted, however it has to be a Top Flight side.

You must present a 25 man squad list for the FA to look at.


For me it would be
