But there has been rather too many 'deja vu' posts of late.  (Don't worry. I'm getting on a bit and quite enjoy being a G.O.M)

Interesting to see who was there (and who was not)...

Stand outs to me were:

Hugo, Trotta, Stekelenberg and Kaca

People I couldn't see:

Sacha (now we know why)

Kieran

Kasami

Woodrow?


Any others you're surprised to see (or are missing) ?

Woodrow is there. Kasami though is a disappointing omission - would've loved to have kept tankovic but sadly not possible. Can't blame the guy for being more ambitious.

Passeley definitely and Christensen but no Kasami or Richardson, shame to see Kasami go but losing Richardson and his experience could be a real loss as playing in fornt of the full back he looked great at the end, gave us width and pace givng us a solidity on the left despite Riise, but I understand if a player wants to go why Magath would let him move on.

I hoped because of his comments at the end he would be committed to the fight for an instant return.

A decent base. We know a few new faces are on the way, but we need 5-6 more soon to be premier league quality types if we have any chance in getting promoted.
