I think the home teams get to choose when the schedule is made whether they want to play on the Tuesday or the Wednesday. I'm not sure though.

Ya, I read the same from reading the View from Wolves post. Apparently when the schedule is made teams get to choose if they want to play their midweek games on Tuesday or Wednesday. We chose Wednesday it looks like.

haha so fulhamish. I assumed it was something to do with policing the game. When we were in the prem we always seemed to play wednesday rather than tuesday when the league was split. We also very rarely play at 1945, its always 2000. Maybe just a coincidence then.
