Fulham move to sign Mark Hudson and Matt Smith

Pretty sure I remember Mark Hudson playing for the first team in the League Cup. Probably before most of the glory hunters started supporting the club.  However I thought I read a couple of weeks ago that he had a serious injury and was likely to be out for months - or am I imagining it.

Did he not play on Saturday? Looks a good defender . Looked good against Blackburn last time I saw him, too.

He may have, I'm pretty sure he didn't play in the league though. He left shortly after Tigana came in. He did seem a good prospect leading up to that but I recall talking to him about the new regime and he didn't seem too enthusiastic, maybe because he didn't see a chance for himself.

He's a local man and a decent type.
