I spent much of today feeling despondent, I knew Khan was able to dismiss his managers (he's had enough practise To be fair)' but until now he's left it far too late by the time he has acted.

I hope that the dismissal of the "last dictator" pays off on Saturday, certainly the players must be feeling a great deal of relief this evening.

Kit will have his work cut out repairing the damage but foe sure the team will be 100% behind him.

Fulham Chairman Shahid Khan today named Kit Symons as Caretaker Manager of Fulham Football Club and will personally and immediately lead a thorough search for the new First Team Manager of the Club.

Symons, the Under-21s Manager at Fulham, replaces Felix Magath. Mr Khan today thanked Mr Magath for his efforts through the final three months of last season in the Barclays Premier League and the first seven matches this season in the Sky Bet Championship.

"This is an unfortunate but necessary change," Mr Khan said. "I am doing what I feel is right and needed for Fulham Football Club, for today as well as tomorrow.

"I thank our supporters for standing by us during these most difficult of times on the pitch, and promise better days ahead."

This is a true statement of intent in my eyes, Ali Mac gone by the end of the season too?

Surely that highlighted statement should raise a few eyebrows. That man knows nothing about football, and he will personally lead the recruitment search?
Khan couldn't head a bus queue

Does this mean Ali Mac won't be leading the search?

I wonder what is Kit doing right now? :)

Tonight: draw out his first 11
Friday: sparring with the reserves. Write out an inspiring team talk
Saturday: drink some honey lemon tea. A lot of shouting to be done.

Hey. Give Wooly a break. He was a happy poster for 5 minutes. Time to get back in the saddle.

Inappropriate and tired as hell. I'm still laughing though.  :005:
