Berserker

I remember years ago when I was unloading a lorry for the Co-op,  a man run past me down our service road with just a balaclava on. Don't know who he was running from as there was only myself and the lorry driver to see him.

Hopefully he'll get strung up by the bits usually kept hidden, and never let into another sports ground in his life. Absolute prat of an individual, have no time for that, especially during a game, I prayed he was not a Fulham supporter.

According to Gentleman Jim, he was one of ours.

Why would he end up in court and get a criminal record? The club would just issue a banning order, he broke no law
I think he did break a law, as pitch invasion at that level is an offence  under Football (Offences) Act 1991 s.4.

I also believe that the maximum sentence (if encroachment is all that happened) is a level 3 £1,000 fine. but I'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me.

From reading the relevant words in the sentencing council guidelines:

There is a conviction, but it is a summary offence only, and the starting point for fines is Band B, being 100% of relevant weekly income, with a max level 3 (1000). In addition, I believe a banning order can also be imposed.

Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.
