Top of my list would have to be:
The Sex Pistols  (everyone of their 'songs')
Malcolm McLaren was a genius who somehow managed to make this lot a success.
I liked some of the 'punk bands'   Clash, Jam and Stranglers though.

'Worst' or most annoying songs
"Grandad"  Clive Dunn
"Hole in the ground"  Bernard Cribbins
"Little White Bull" Tommy Steele
"High on a hill stood a lonely goatherd"   Sound of Music
Most rap singers
"I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair"   South Pacific
"Tiptoe through the tulips"   Tiny Tim
"Dominique"  The Singing Nuns
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

My God, man, have you no soul? Bernard Cribbins can do no wrong, not even when he accidently killed off David Tennant as Doctor Who. Oh, spoiler alert if you haven't seen it yet.
Any fool can criticise, condemn and complain, and most fools do.

I can't really answer this because if they are poor it is self evident.
I am waiting for the thread regarding mediocre singers/bands that become successful beyond their talent!

I cannot accept bernard cribbins because he is a novelty song singer and therefore it is very much to be taken in that respect
BUT if you want to know who I think really poor that has fooled masses of people for years is bruce springstein, I can see no redeeming features in his voice or songs and to me he is the worst (unless my memory fails and there are others equally appalling)

Bob dylan has a dreadful voice but he was an iconic poet and general great writer so I forgive him.
