Playing in camouflage kit in hopes to raise money for a medical rehabilitation unit for military members in Surrey. The kit has already sold out.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Why does a football club have to raise money for injured soldiers? Don't the great British Army, the MOD and all those poppy wearing millionaires look after the maimed, the blind and those who lose their minds?

They do not HAVE to raise money for injured service members, but it is great that they are CHOOSING to do so. That is what makes this such an excellent charity.

I suppose that living in a society in which we pay other people to risk their lives to protect us rather than in the old days where we would all have to go off to fight for our Lords, means that we should all be thankful that someone is prepared to do it. If our sacrifice is a few quid then I am more than willing to give my share. After all the "bad guys" don't think twice about stealing my goods, my house, enslaving my family and destroying everything that makes life worth living.
