The unusual problem we have is that our squad is large with a lot of young promising players who have as yet not quite been up to the hard championship standards. Before new players can be signed I imagine some players will be required to leave and it is going to be harder to prune young green shoots than deadwood.
Yes, I have been having similar thoughts. In 5 years time, given the right coaching, some of those "young promising players who have as yet not quite been up to the hard championship standards" could be Premier League standard.
But Mr Khan is not going to wait 5 years.
So if he invests in talented new players to achieve promotion, those young players will struggle to be part of the first team squad (and if they are ambitious will probably leave).
And as Burnley, QPR, Leicester have shown, getting promotion is the easy part, staying in the Premier League is the hard part.
So I suspect a lot of the "young green shoots" will have to be pruned, unless Kit can somehow keep them happy and motivated to improve, and is allowed to retain a large squad.
An interesting dilemma.

Pie in the sky nonsense like everything else about Khan.

The sun rises in the east, the hearts of the Fulham faithful beat with love for the club and you live up to your moniker.
Its nice that life is consistent.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Very interesting. Doesn't rule out big spends but wants it done properly.

46:06 he is on....and Mr. Kahn says all the right things. A very down to earth owner.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"
