There is only one problem - lack of experienced strong defensive midfielders - I am quite sure KS has been trying to get players on loan to fill these positions without any luck so far - lets hope we have a cash float from Khan to bolster up a very weak squad in January (yes it has potential but that's no good at the moment) - without these DMs, the inexperienced defence is continually exposed.

Roger, good post. Lots of thought and lots to think about.

I think because most of us have a good knowledge of our own squad and (with respect) less knowledge of other squads in The Championship, we fall into the trap of thinking that our squad is somehow better than it is. Yes, we do have potential, but experience at this level is minimal, as others have said.

I reckon the squad is mid table at best. And that is where we'll finish until Kit can sign a few more.
