Every game that Amore played this season he had Stafy infront of him. Maybe he was subbed but he always made the starting 11. He has been one of our more consistent players all year. Kav is a left back, he is doing well in the midfield but seeing as though we have Kaca, Fofana and arguably GW all more established in that role, he is more likely to be needed at LB. The fact that we signed Kav up til 2018 suggests that the club see him as the clubs long term left back when Stafy returns home.

I will say it again Amore offers nothing. He is slow, reads the game poorly, makes horrible tackles and gets himself so far out of position it's ridiculous. the under 9's players that come on at half time have more positional sense than he does. He has a decent cross, but Kav has a better one.

Oh boy :
So in the last 24 hours I learn that there are offers from this board to drive away 3 of Kits starters
Amore
Fofana
And
Ruiz
Anyone else ?

I'm sorry am I missing something here. His last few games at left back he was really good. Expensive, yes, which is the only reason he might need to go, but a good player. Was surprisingly good going forward too

FB i take it you mean Amore gives penalties away to give the keepers practice, Stafy this year has given 3 i think away, he may be our best LB in your view but he is prone to a rash challenge or two.

I do not mind Amore, I do not think we can let him go unless we have adequate cover coming in, just my opinion though.

He was/is good for the Championship at LB, not sure he would have the pace for the same position in the Prem and he was certainly a liability at CB in the prem.

Think I would rather sell and use the cash/wages to bring in another LB (if we dont get Staff in the summer) and a CB.... Wouldn't go ahead until the summer though when we have a decent amount of time to bring in quality replacements.

I like Amorebieta more than most posters here, but I have a hard time convincing myself he'll be healthy enough to make a big contribution.  I'd let him go if we got a decent offer; Burn and Bodurov are both capable at left-sided center back, and Stafylidis (hopefully we exercise the option to sign him permanently) and Kavanagh are good enough at left back (though I'm not as high on Kavanagh as some here).
