Ruiz in Swansea Link!

Hidden at the bottom of a page dedicated to sport in a leading tabloid this morning is the inference that Bryan Ruiz could be set to leave Craven Cottage this transfer window.

Although, previously, it had been intimated that a return to South America was on the cards, with Boca Juniors reportedly having had a bid, said to be in the region of £3.9 million, Ruiz could be set for a return to the Premier League.

It`s being implied that Gary Monk, down at Swansea City, are interested in the player if the two clubs can agree on a transfer fee, said to be in the region of £4.25 million can be agreed.

Here at Vital Fulham we reckon this is a rumour that should be watched!

Duo Set to Leave Fulham

With the transfer window closure almost upon us, rumours in the media, this morning, infer that two of our squad could be set to head through the exit door at Craven Cottage.

The first of the likely duo to leave is our right-back, Elsad Zverotic, with it being implied that struggling Millwall, under the leadership of Ian Holloway, are keen on the player.

The second of the likely duo is our defender Kay Voser who, according to the media, is free to leave.

We`ll report further if we get any further information.

Levante reach loan agreement for Fulham's Bryan Ruiz

Fulham midfielder, Bryan Ruiz has joined Levante on a six-month loan, pending approval from the FIFA.

Just an hour after the official close of the January transfer window, Levante announced that they had reached an agreement with Fulham for the Costa Rican international but were waiting for the move to be approved by FIFA before making it official.

"Levante have signed Bryan Ruiz with the LFP, pending the authorization of FIFA, after Fulham and Levante reached a loan agreement for the player until the end of the season."

Levante's signing of Ruiz until the end of the season is the biggest move of the transfer deadline as the relegation side have made major moves to try and ensure they remain in the Primera.

Fans have huge role to play

Manager Gary Bowyer has issued a rallying call to the fans ahead of today's game against Fulham.
The Rovers boss witnessed first hand the affect vocal support from the stands can have on a side at Craven Cottage last week, when Nottingham Forest almost came back from three goals down to pick up a point against today's opponents.

"I've seen the impact of positive vocal support the other week when I went to watch Fulham," he said.

"They went 3-0 up against Nottingham Forest after about half an hour and the Forest fans got right behind their team, got right behind their manager and slowly but surely, Forest came back into the game, got it back to 3-2 and could have quite easily nicked something out of the game.

"You can't actually measure how much of that was down to the fans' reaction, but it did make a massive difference them being that positive and that vocal, and that's the same for any football fans.

"These players that go out there are human and they need that support, especially when you're having a bit of a tough time, which we are at the moment.

"You've got to stick together, get everybody at it and the only way you can turn it is by hard work."
