I actually laughed when I read this thread title as though Shirley Bassey was singing it.  Not exactly poetry but it inspired me to write the following:

Diamonds are forever,
They're why we always drop 3.
They don't stimulate or please me,
On a wet Tuesday night,
We won't play down the right,
and it hurts me.
