Job done, thank you and Good night.

Did he get us into the Play-offs?

Jimpav

No, he's effectively kept us up though so now it's time for him to take a bow and leave the stage.

Well job done and Kit might as well complete the season, We can't possibly have another bad season the last 3 have been unbearable.

"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

A 'thank you' for that is a bit rich!

Oh yes we can.
Big changes needed from top to bottom. (that doesn't mean throwing money at it either)

I am delighted that we are not going to be relegated, but I can't say I am brimming with delight.

Simple fact is that we were clinging on, against a team in turmoil, a team who will struggle in League 1 and we have struggled in the last 2 games against teams almost as bad.

The summer will need a complete rebuild.  Although the Magath demolition was disastrous, I cannot see any potential in this squad, apart from Bettinelli and holding on to Mccormack.

Lighthouse

Big Summer please. No more pretence that the squad was any good. Let's get somebody who knows how to rebuild a squad without spending big on just one player.

After the awful start and awful finish to the season. We are lucky to still be here. Let's not mess up a Summer as well.

I am one of the few that seem to be insane enough to stand by Kit at the current time, and I think we should keep him in charge. I am sick and tired of the chopping and changing of gaffers...It cannot possibly always be the managers fault. We need stability, and it starts with the leadership. The players see their manager on a day-to-day basis, and this changing of mangers on a semi-annual basis is not good for business. Keep Kahn, Keep Kit, and see where we are at November next season.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

The Rock

Agreed - he did keep us up (bar an amazing run in form from 4 teams and goal difference change). He's a likeable guy, and I think he did ok dealt the hand he was given.

Summer awaits.

There is no Leadership. That's one of the problems.

I would agree with that if there was any evidence of progression. There wasn't, in fact the complete reverse. By the end of the season we were, actually, playing with less skill, organisation and impact than we were under Magath.

I am grateful for survival as it could have been much worse after magaths start but I really hope today doesnt change anyones mind. Obviously credit where its due we finally won and got over the line but it was blackpool who seem to have waved the white flag and lose to everyone.

Big summer and kit deserves a role at the club. Nothing to do with the first team but he deserves some kind of job just for keeping us up.

Dont have faith in him though and I would like to think the club are considering their options already. Make a decision in May and give the new bloke a good run at assessing this season and making his own signings. Massive job and massive pressure! Im glad Im not getting the job

Oh how terribly polite this is. Where are the 'you clown'  remarks. Where are the you only like Kit because it is 'contrary to opinion'.

Glad we have learned a little more politeness than last week.  :group hug:

Out of interest, which contributor to this thread are you directing your comment towards?

Willard

It will be interesting to see if the owner agrees with the majority of posters here and does replace Kit with another manager. His decision on the team management will go someway to clarifying his real agenda for the club. I know he made an "onwards and upwards" statement earlier this month but I shall wait to see what happens.

As an old school Fulham supporter I am appalled by some of these posts.  Whatever your opinion regards Kit's suitability for the future, he deserves far greater respect than some of you are giving him.  Disgraceful.

Fulham Tup North

At least he has improved our AWAY curse!
Four away wins last term, FIVE so far this season.
Stat's don't lie ;)

Glad we have stayed up, (barring some freak results), now it is time to rebuild, from the Management down!
