MARTIN Jol plans to go Dutch at Fulham with a new-look background staff as soon as he becomes manager.

The former Tottenham manager intends to bring older brother Cornelis Jol as assistant, and Mike Lindemann as fitness coach from the Dutch superstars – the same back-up that stood by the younger Jol when he was at Hamburg – the job in between Ajax and Spurs.

It's understood Ajax are currently thrashing out around £1.2million compensation for their coach, with Jol set to get £2m-a-year as a flat salary when he signs on the dotted line at Craven Cottage – but with the chance of massive bonuses if he gets Fulham higher than best-ever seventh in the top flight as well as a return to Europe.

Jol is set to be unveiled before Fulham's first pre-season game of their mini-Swedish tour on Thursday against Halmstad.
