Fulham Target Centre-Back!

With the close season now upon us, we`re expecting the transfer speculation to ramp up over the coming weeks.

This weekend though, the name of Fulham Football Club has been mentioned when it comes to one player who is available as a free agent.

It is being reported that the former Bolton captain, Matt Mills, is interesting both Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

Forest would seem to be leading the race as the 28-year-old has already had a medical at the City Ground.

However, there is still time for Fulham to steal a march as Forest are currently operating under a transfer embargo whereby they are only able to pick up free agents and are limited by what salary they can pay them.

In his career, prior to becoming a Bolton player, Mills has been on the books of Southampton, Manchester City, Doncaster Rovers, Reading and Leicester City.

We`ll report further if / when any further information becomes available.

What time does it start?

The ticketed event begins at 12pm and lasts until 3pm. Gates open from 12pm and all those attending must enter through Cottage Gate – next to the Cottage Café – and have their ticket(s) ready for checking.
What's in store?

When inside the ground, we'll have a host of activities for our supporters to take advantage of – including a giant bouncy castle, bungee run, target cages and the chance to score a penalty on the Cottage turf! We'll also have a balloon modeller and face painter, as well as everyone's favourite mascot, Billy the Badger!
Food and drink

Supporters are welcome to bring food and drink into the stadium, however where possible, please avoid bringing any glass. Ice cream will be available to buy, and the Cottage Café will also be open throughout the day - access can be gained when inside the ground.

The Stadium Store will also be open for business, where fans will be able to shop our End of Season Sale or pick up confectionery items to enjoy! Access to the store can only be gained from Stevenage Road.
Plan your journey

Whilst the proposed National Rail strike has been postponed, there remain a number of planned works on public transport routes, following the Bank Holiday. Supporters are advised to plan their journey in advance.

For supporters travelling by car, local parking restrictions will apply on the day.

We look forward to seeing you on the pitch!
