Is Time Running Out?

The media still seem to feel that Fulham Football Club are set to make a move to sign Matt Mills.

As we`ve already reported, Mills is a free agent after his contract at Bolton Wanderers came to an end.

Today it is reported that a deal for the player has moved closer with the player having undertaken a medical, an examination that didn`t throw up any problems.

Which would suggest that a deal is all but done, however; the medical passed was at Nottingham Forest, not with Fulham.

If Fulham are to secure the services of Matt Mills as the media are suggesting then I`d suggest they get a move on!

QPR, Derby and Fulham target move for Swansea defender

QPR, Derby County and Fulham are reportedly targeting a move for versatile Swansea City defender Jazz Richards.

The 24-year-old only has a year left on his contract at the Liberty Stadium, and could look for a move away from the club after failing to hold down a regular first-term spot.

The Wales international, who can play either of the full-back roles or in midfield, spent the second half of the 2014-15 season on loan at Fulham, where he made 14 appearances, and they are keen to bring him to Craven Cottage permanently.

However, they will face competition from QPR and Derby, who are also looking to strengthen their squads for promotion pushes next term.

Fulham hoping to steal defender from under the noses of Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are in talks with former Bolton Wanderers captain Matt Mills but league rivals Fulham are hoping to steal the defender before he puts pen-to-paper at the City Ground, reports the Daily Mail.
Mills is a target for both Fulham and Nottingham Forest

Mills is a target for both Fulham and Nottingham Forest

The 28-year-old is without a club after being released by the Trotters this week and Forest have moved quickly to to hold talks with the former Manchester City and Leicester defender.

Mills underwent a medical at Forest this weekend but Fulham are keen to muscle in and steal the defender before he signs a contract at the City Ground.

The Reds are under a transfer embargo, meaning they can only sign free agents and loans and are restricted on what wages they can offer.

Mills started his career at Southampton before joining Manchester City in 2006. He made just two appearances for the Citizens and left to join Doncaster Rovers.

He later had spells at Reading and Leicester.

The defender made 87 appearances for Bolton, scoring six goals.
