not really, the talk from the top is top 6. boa got over double that from the wing the last time we made top 6

Surely again it's about service, They are both virtually only goal scorers, although do have other assets.

Darren Bent is an example, little service, low confidence, limited pitch time, lack of goals
Went to Derby and was a different player.
Probably Hugo suffered from the same thing

so wouldnt we be better off buying a striker less reliant on service?

We've got goalscorers who are more 'mobile'

Ross, LVC, Roberts, Dembele, Woodrow + newbies.
Smith is solely a goal scorer and 'assistor'

I cannot see why people are so against him, he did very well for us in a crap side.

Give the guy a chance or is he the new scapegoat who moaners can hang their hat on 'cause it's trendy.
I was possibly the biggest Ruiz 'bater' but he was a skilled donkey.
