...hi manxman, the answer is the first post of this website feedback section, but to save you the trouble of finding the details:-

1) Find a picture on the internet *
2) With the cursor on the image, Right mouse click
3) The 'drop down' menu appears left mouse click on the 'Properties' option
4) In the new 'menu' there will be a 'Address' (URL) which will look something like this:-

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:wMuT_2WtBh0xhM:http://images.hostels.com/images/hostels.com/features/10_97.jpg

Right mouse click from top left to bottom right of this address and then right mouse click again and another drop down menu appears - right mouse click on 'copy'

5) Now come back to this site and above the emoticons/smilies, and just below the 'Font Size' there is an icon which with your cursor over it says 'Insert Image' - click in it and in your message/post, this appears  [img]http://and then the same with [/ and the img[

6) Now, place your mouse cursor between the ]and the[, right mouse click - the drop down menu appears again, RM click the paste.

And Robert is your fathers brother!

It sounds complicated but do it 2 or 3 times and it becomes automatic...

Addendum: If the picture you want to post is not already on the internet, open an account with a photo /video hosting site such as http://imageshack.us/ or http://www.flickr.com/ and you can load your pictures on there.

It's too technical for me.

My solution was to ask my daughter who did the necessary whilst explaining what she was doing. I was able to forget what she'd told me within seconds thus saving the brain from overload.

Here is a question about loading pictures. Why is it I can load a picture and see it clearly in the thread. But I go back to the thread and it sometimes is missing with the red X in its place. Why is it missing sometimes and not others?
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

if your loading a picture from another site then the other site might have deleted either the page or the image
