Boro have denied speculation that they are poised to sign striker Dwight Gayle. The £10m rated Crystal Palace hitman has been linked with a switch to Teesside in some media outlets. And that set the Boro grapevine buzzing with widespread talk of the former Peterbrough man's imminent arrival.But a senior Boro source today dismissed the link and said the club were not pursuing the speedy frontman.


Maybe good news for us? Or Gayle's agent has been trying to generate more interest.
