Average positions of those yesterday speak a lot.

As you can see, our left midfielder is in the centre circle with Lasse Vigen Christensen and Jamie O'Hara. Tom Cairney was a little closer to his wing than Ben Pringle but Cairney is the player that should be allowed to float a little more. If anything, this is worse than the diamond - at least then we had two strikers and a link man, here we just have four players in central midfield and balls being lumped up to Matt Smith where Ross McCormack gets nowhere near to them. In a home game, we're playing in the circumference of a lunch box with a lost striker in the whole and one providing little but winning headers.

Not like the Fulham one. There's heatmaps that you can find here: http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/958451/Live

If you delve into that player by player and block by block - a much more obvious 442 with March and Lua Lua hugging the wings, Bruno and Bong supporting with a clear partnership of the two central midfielders and the two strikers.

Pringles position probably explain why Voser had such a poor game. Left on his own.

This really is down to coaching and team discipline. People not doing as they are told, or not being told.

I disagree with that, problem is Pringle can't receive the ball from Voser without going inside because voser can't kick down the line with his left. Every time inside or back inside or back.
