Signed a 5 year contract with Brighton in July 2014, rumoured to be around the 10k mark a week, possibly less.

With known interest from both Fulham and the Premiership, it was said that Dunk had no interest in moving to Fulham, but would consider a move if a Premiership offer came along.

However, the longer this dragged on, and the more interest Fulham showed, both Dunk and his Agent used us to leaver a better contract from Brighton (Only a year into his old one).

He was fined for not playing, not because he was trying to engineer a move, but because he wasn't happy with Brighton's new terms, it wasn't up there with Fulham's offer, apparently.

Brighton's persistence to hold onto Dunk finally ended with them caving in and offering Dunk a new 5 year deal, keeping him at the Club until 2020, on wages rumoured to be 3 times the amount he's on now.

This is not devious. This is what any talented employee in any field does when they have multiple options. In order to extract maximum value, you have to be willing to leave, and then see what your current employer wants to do.

Many "talented" people honour(or do you prefer honor) contracts.

That's not how capitalism for people with elite talent works. In Dunk's case, the soccer system allows for personnel movement in exchange for money, and their contracts reset when that happens. Brighton could have opted to take 5m for Dunk. Instead, they opted to pay him more money to keep him. End of.

I see Stones has posted a transfer request.  We've obviously changed our focus.
