Surely Stan Collymore was arrested for something
And Michael Brown must have tackled someone from behind in the High Street somewhere.

There was an Irish lad who played once (literally) for us, in the 60s or early 70s, who went back to Ireland and got caught up in a terrorist group. I remember the case for the paper headline "top football star arrested in terrorist plot" ("top football star" after playing once for us was a taking literary licence a bit far!) but I can't recall his name and don't want to guess it for libel reasons.
