Tickets For Troops

Fulham are donating 1,000 tickets to Tickets For Troops for Saturday's pre-season friendly against Werder Bremen.

The Craven Cottage fixture will give Fulham fans the opportunity to see newly appointed manager Mark Hughes take charge of the team for the first time, along with being able to see Germany's outstanding World Cup star Mesut Ozil, at close quarters.

Members of the Armed Forces can apply for tickets through the charity's website www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk Fulham was one of the first clubs to support Tickets For Troops and have already pledged to make more tickets available at Craven Cottage throughout the season and the club's chairman Mohamed Al Fayed said: "We are delighted to be supporting Tickets For Troops in this way, to show our respect for the amazing work our Armed Forces are doing. I look forward to welcoming them to the Cottage on Saturday".

Tickets For Troops Chairman, Lord Marland said: "Tickets For Troops has benefited from a great wave of generosity from our ticket donors who have wanted to demonstrate their support and show their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the marvellous men and women of our Armed Forces, enabling troops to support their local team."

Tickets For Troops have teamed up with a wide range of organisations and have been able to offer free tickets to a huge number of high profile events, recently these have included tickets for The Football League, England vs Hungary and the British Grand Prix.

The charity was set up last year to provide members of the Armed Forces with free tickets for major sporting events including football, horse racing, rugby, darts and cricket matches as well as theatre performances, music concerts and cultural attractions.
