Excellent shout! Just checked and indeed 'twas so. He was half a year older than Cliffie Carr when he took the armband, so a very close runner-up in terms of regular captains in the past 50 years -- maybe ever?

He had Duck feet, turned outwards, where as Strongly had Pigeon toes, turning inwards.
